Ear Piercings
There are several different types of ear piercings that you can consider. Here are some popular ones:
Standard Lobe Piercing: This is the most common type of ear piercing, where the earlobe is pierced. It can be done with a standard stud or hoop.
Helix Piercing: This piercing is done on the upper cartilage of the ear. It can be placed anywhere along the outer rim of the ear.
Tragus Piercing: This piercing is done on the small, thick cartilage flap that covers the ear canal. It is located just above the earlobe.
Daith Piercing: This piercing is done on the innermost cartilage fold of the ear, just above the ear canal.
Rook Piercing: It is done on the antihelix, which is the ridge of cartilage above the tragus and just below the helix.
Conch Piercing: This piercing can be done on the inner or outer part of the ear's cartilage. It is located in the middle of the ear, parallel to the helix.
Industrial Piercing: This involves connecting two piercings with a single straight barbell. Typically, it connects the helix and the forward helix.
Snug Piercing: This piercing is done through the inner cartilage ridge, snug against the outer rim of the ear.
Orbital Piercing: It involves two piercings connected with a single piece of jewelry. One piercing is placed on the helix, and the other on the outer edge of the earlobe.
Transverse Lobe Piercing: This piercing is done horizontally through the earlobe, rather than vertically.
Facial Piercings
Facial piercings can be a bold and unique way to express your style. Here are some different types of facial piercings:
Nose Piercing: This is one of the most common facial piercings. It can be done on the nostril or on the septum (the middle part of the nose).
Lip Piercing: There are various types of lip piercings, including:
Labret Piercing: This piercing is done below the center of the lower lip.
Monroe/Madonna Piercing: It is placed on the upper lip, off to one side, mimicking the beauty marks of Marilyn Monroe or Madonna.
Medusa/Philtrum Piercing: This piercing is done in the center of the upper lip, just above the cupid's bow.
Eyebrow Piercing: This piercing is done vertically through the eyebrow, usually towards the outer end.
Cheek Piercing: Cheek piercings are placed on the cheekbones, and they can be done individually or in pairs.
Bridge Piercing: This piercing is placed horizontally on the bridge of the nose, between the eyes.
Septum Piercing: This piercing is done through the soft tissue in the center of the nose, between the nostrils.
Anti-Eyebrow Piercing: Also known as a teardrop piercing, it is done just below the eye, following the natural curve of the cheekbone.
Tongue Piercing: This piercing is placed horizontally through the center of the tongue.
Smiley Piercing: This piercing is done on the inside of the upper lip, so that the jewelry is visible when smiling.
Dimple Piercing: Dimple piercings are placed on the cheeks to mimic natural dimples.
