Do you take walk-ins?

We DO take walk-ins and enjoy them, however, it is on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage everyone to call during business hours to check availability. To guarantee a spot we suggest making an appointment with one of our artists.

How do I make an appointment?

Take a look through our artists and their portfolios if you haven't picked someone to work with. You can email us amonumentalinktattoo@gmail.com or call us at 281-339-7402.

Do I need to put a deposit down?

When you book your appointment you will be asked to put down a non-refundable deposit ranging from $50 to $100 depending upon the artist you choose.  Your deposit will go towards the balance of your tattoo.  After your deposit is placed a consultation appointment will be set.

How soon will I hear back from the artist?

We try to answer emails within 24 hours and in the order that we receive them. If you haven't heard from please call us at 281-339-7402 or come see us at the shop at 609 Bradford Avenue, Unit 104, Kemah, Texas, 77565.

What are the shop hours?

We are open Tuesday thru Sunday from NOON to 7PM. We are closed Mondays.

How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?

Texas Administrative Code requires a client must be a minimum of 18 years of age and shall present at the time of tattooing or body piercing a valid, government issued, positive identification card including, but not limited to a drivers license, passport or military ID.

Can I see my drawing before the appointment?

Many times, NO. Our artist are constantly creating and generating ideas for a variety of clients.  We use your appointment to review your artwork and make small changes as needed. For bigger changes you may need to reset your appointment date. We want to ensure the best results for your tattoo.

What should I expect when I come in for a tattoo? What is expected of me?

Your artist will be here with your sketch or drawing, ready to tattoo. We will provide a clean and welcoming environment. We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your tattoo.  Please make sure you are well rested, fed, sober, clean and open minded in trusting the process and artist. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We take cash, debit, credit, Zelle, Venmo and CashApp.

Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Everyone has different threshold for pain, however, most say it was not nearly as bad as they feared. We've compared it to a bad sunburn but again your experience is going to be different then the next person.

Can I use numbing cream?

Yes you can. Please follow the directions on the bottle and let your artist know that you are using numbing cream. Please be aware that some numbing creams and lotions have compromised the tattoo. We do not sell creams or make recomendations on specific numbing creams or lotions.

Can I get an old tattoo covered, "fixed" or "repaired"?

Covering an old tattoo depends on many factors so it is best to schedule a consultation with an artist to discuss options. Many of our artist specialize in tattoo cover-up and have had great success in giving new life to already existing tattoo.
